Nebraska Homeschool exists to build a stronger homeschool community. OUR VISION: To honor Christ as we help build a supportive and effectively networked homeschool community. OUR MISSION: To support and encourage homeschool families through mentoring, collaboration, and resource networking. Nebraska Homeschool is an all-volunteer nonprofit group. We serve homeschool families, homeschool groups, and build relationships with businesses and groups who want to support homeschooling in Nebraska.

Annual Homeschool Expo - we bring resources to the homeschool community to help them find what they need to create the best possible homeschool experiences. Our expo features local homeschool groups, extracurricular activities, businesses, and agencies that are networking and collaborating with the homeschool community.

Annual Used Curriculum & Book Sale - we offer a forum for all homeschool families to sell, purchase or donate homeschool curriculum and materials. We provide an opportunity to explore homeschooling, learn how to set-up a new homeschool, or consult with the NE Dept. of Education Exempt (Home) School Program staff at our event.

New Homeschool Mentoring - we invite inquiries about homeschooling and help families explore options as they define their homeschool journey (1:1 or group mentoring available).

High School & Beyond Mentoring - we share ideas, experiences, and resources; we support parents and students as they develop their high school plans, gather documentation, and explore post-secondary education options (1:1 or group mentoring available).

Scripps (Homeschool) Spelling Bee - we sponsor an official Scripps Spelling Bee for area homeschool students. Open to all eligible homeschool students; offered in collaboration between Nebraska Homeschool and the Omaha Public Library.

National Homeschool Honor Society, Chi Zeta Chapter - we hold the charter for the Chi Zeta Chapter allowing us to recognize academic scholarship coupled with volunteerism in our area homeschooled students.

Homeschool Picture Days - we host multiple picture days for the area giving families an opportunity to document their child's progress through the years and be included in the Legacy Yearbook. Open to all homeschooled students.

Legacy (Homeschool) Yearbook - we publish the area's premier homeschool yearbook showcasing the homeschool community through individual student achievements & group activities including visual & performing arts, band and orchestra, athletics, speech & debate, scholarship, and much more.

Metropolitan Area Homeschool Graduation - we sponsor the largest homeschool graduation in the area, offering all an opportunity to formally acknowledge the completion of homeschool as seniors move on to college and careers. Open to all homeschool students. Join us for the celebration!
