The Friends of the Council Bluffs Library is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that supports programming needs of the Council Bluffs Public Library that are beyond the scope of normal budget operations. The Friends raise money through memberships, donations and operation of the Friends Bookstore inside the library (where we sell used books, CDs, DVDs, books on tape, and even snacks and coffee.)
Supporting the Friends of the Council Bluffs Library is an opportunity to support the Council Bluffs Library. We are an all-volunteer board and all-volunteer operation, with 100 percent of donated funds and profits from the Friends Bookstore operation going directly to support library functions.
