We help cultivate that by having empowerment seminars, workshops, and activities that bring out the best you. Also, we try to help bridge the gap in resources they might need to help them succeed. 3SISTERS also believes in community involvement; meaning you can't get help if you can't be a help, so we feed the homeless every month.

"48 STARS" is a documentary film that explores the World War II era through the eyes of the people who lived it: veterans, civilians, participants and resisters. From stories of deadly combat to unexpected romance to deeply held but unpopular convictions, to revolutionary inspiration, "48 STARS" takes the viewer on a vivid journey of personal reflections and memories. Many Americans were tested to their very limits, but nearly all joined together in solidarity under the emblem of a nation.
Acappella Omaha Chorus of Sweet Adelines International
Acappella Omaha Chorus of Sweet Adelines International has been in existence since 1956. Currently, under the direction of Annette Wallace, the 33 member chorus rehearses every Monday night at 7 p.m. (except holidays) at Remington Heights Retirement Village, 12606 W. Dodge Road. Singing a cappella harmony in four parts: bass, baritone, melody or lead, and tenor, the chorus' purpose is to advance the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performance.

African American Empowerment Network
The Empowerment Network is a united group of residents, leaders, and organizations working to facilitate positive change in Omaha and other cities across the country. Launched in September 2006, the Network works collectively to improve the economic condition and quality of life for African-Americans, North Omaha Residents and the Greater Omaha area. The movement is a nationally recognized approach for community engagement, collaboration, capacity-building and leadership development.
African Culture Connection
African Culture Connection (ACC) provides African culture and art experiences that encourage an appreciation for the richness diversity brings to all. ACC increases cultural awareness and art education opportunities for low-income youth by providing culturally diverse, art-based in-school and after-school residency programs and performances in the Omaha metro area and beyond.

The American Italian Heritage Society encourages, promotes, and preserves Italian Culture and heritage with activities centered upon Italian traditions, foods, language, religious festivals, folklore, customs, celebrations, music, dance and family genealogy. Our calendar is always updated and we'd love for you to become a member. Our President and Board of Directors are dedicated to this mission but we need your moral and financial support to be successful.

We do this by: Awarding grants to artists, Offering professional development and educational opportunities, Building bridges to access, and Promoting progress in the arts sector.
We provide art programming and classes in the South Omaha community. The families in the South Omaha community and other surrounding communities of the greater Omaha metro area often don't have access arts programming due to financial or language barriers. Access to arts programming can improve education engagement, civic participation, and can serve as a mitigating factor against generational poverty.

Arts For All, Inc. is a nonprofit arts education organization dedicated to making the arts available and affordable for all ages throughout Metro Omaha.
Arts in Motion
Arts in Motion's mission is to use art to strengthen communities by empowering individuals to break down cultural barriers and improve critical thinking and communication skills. Since 2006 Arts in Motion has offered a program called Dancing Classrooms to school students in the Omaha area. Dancing Classrooms is an internationally recognized ballroom dance method for children, designed to build respect, confidence, social skills, and a love for the arts amongst diverse classmates.
