Antwaun was a pillar of the Omaha Community before his untimely death at the age of 24 on July 10,2015. The loss of Antwaun was felt throughout the entire community of Omaha. He was a mentor, a friend, a brother, a son, and a ray of hope for so many. This charity was derived to secure his legacy and continue acts of service and giving.

C.A.R. Alliance
The Cady Anne Reynolds (C.A.R.) Alliance for Safer Teen Driving was formed in 2008 to educate teens and adults about the disastrous and lethal effects of distracted driving. We speak at schools, businesses and safety events to both educate and to put a human face to this completely preventable cause of death and injury on the roadways.

Carole's House of Hope
Our mission is to provide safe, stable and supportive housing opportunities and services for young mothers and their children, as well as other young adults currently in or aging out of the foster care system or other systemic facilities. CHH addresses the gaps in the current model of service that can inevitably lead to high rates of unemployment, homelessness, poverty, mental health instability, criminal activity, early pregnancy, human trafficking and prostitution.

Catholic Charities Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Program
For over 90 years the Catholic Charities based in Des Moines has served people of all faiths in Southwest, Iowa. The Catholic Charities Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Program in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County and Southwest Iowa helps persons dealing with issues of domestic and/or sexual violence. The program offers shelter, support and advocacy to men, women, children and families who are dealing with these situations. The program is available 24 hours a day.

Charles E Lakin Human Services Campus
The Charles E. Lakin Human Services Campus is a place where all children and families in need can find assistance, resources and training to better enable them to become productive and contributing citizens. The campus is home to American Red Cross, Boys & Girls Club, Heartland Family Service, MICAH House, and The Salvation Army. The Campus, a separate non-profit, holds events throughout the year for the children and families and facilitates programs in the Outdoor Learning Oasis.

Compassion In Action
Compassion In Action (CIA) serves individuals confined in prison and families affected by incarceration. CIA provides Pre-Release Education/Reentry Preparation prior to release and works with long-term and life sentence servers through the Self-Betterment Clubs in state facilities. Our prevention service is the RAW DAWGS Youth Corps Gang Prevention Program for boys 5 to 13, breaking the cycle from cradle to crime.

First Responders Foundation
Our mission is to serve and honor all our first responders and their families, build appreciation and respect for their work, and enhance public safety. Police officers and firefighters put their lives on the line for us each and every day and face hardships that most of us will never have to know. They are the first people on the scene when an emergency strikes and willing to do whatever it takes to save and protect the people of our community.

GLSEN Omaha works with educators, administrators, youth-serving professionals, policy-makers, community leaders, and most importantly students, on the urgent need to address anti-LGBTQ+ bullying/harassment in our schools and communities. GLSEN Omaha works to address bullying/harassment and all forms of oppression, through advancing comprehensive safe schools policies and empowering students and educators to teach respect for ALL!

We will strive to establish a monitoring network of trained volunteer citizen-based communicators using any and all available means to deliver the message. Iowa Legal Aid
Iowa Legal Aid provides free civil legal services to low-income Iowans. Through education and representation, advocates help stop domestic violence, ensure safe and habitable housing, end elder abuse and exploitation, prevent homelessness, and increase income stability. Special projects target other vulnerable populations, including at-risk youth, individuals with disabilities, and veterans. We ensure fairness and justice under the law by providing equal access to the court system.
