The Cady Anne Reynolds (C.A.R.) Alliance for Safer Teen Driving was formed in 2008 to educate teens and adults about the disastrous and lethal effects of distracted driving. We speak at schools, businesses and safety events to both educate and to put a human face to this completely preventable cause of death and injury on the roadways.

Carole's House of Hope
Our mission is to provide safe, stable and supportive housing opportunities and services for young mothers and their children, as well as other young adults currently in or aging out of the foster care system or other systemic facilities. CHH addresses the gaps in the current model of service that can inevitably lead to high rates of unemployment, homelessness, poverty, mental health instability, criminal activity, early pregnancy, human trafficking and prostitution.

Catholic Charities Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Program
For almost 100 years Catholic Charities based in Des Moines has served people of all faiths in Southwest, Iowa. The Catholic Charities Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Program in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County and Southwest Iowa helps persons dealing with issues of domestic, sexual violence and/or human trafficking. The program offers shelter, support and advocacy to men, women, children and families who are dealing with these situations. The program is available 24 hours a day.

Charles E Lakin Human Services Campus
The Charles E. Lakin Human Services Campus is a place where all children, families and individuals in need can find assistance, resources and training to better enable them to become productive and contributing residents. The campus is home to Boys & Girls Club, Heartland Family Service, MICAH House, and The Salvation Army. The Campus, a separate non-profit, holds events throughout the year for the children and families and facilitates programs in the Outdoor Learning Oasis.

OUR MISSION: To improve the life of every child - through dedication to exceptional clinical care, research, education and advocacy. Children's Hospital & Medical Center is a 145-bed nonprofit organization caring for children since 1948. It is the only full-service pediatric specialty health care center in Nebraska. At Children's, no child in need of medical care is ever turned away due to an inability to pay.

Community Justice Center
The Community Justice Center provides unique evidence-based Victim Impact/Empathy Life Skills programming facilitated by Forensic Peers in a Restorative Justice environment that inspires offenders and helps participants understand whom their victims are and the extent of the harm they caused their victims and communities. We utilize a Restorative Justice Intervention to reduce recidivism for better, safer, and more restorative communities while elevating victim's voices and improving lives.

Compassion In Action
Compassion In Action (CIA) serves individuals confined in prison and families affected by incarceration. CIA provides Pre-Release Education/Reentry Preparation prior to release and works with long-term and life sentence servers through the Self-Betterment Clubs in state facilities. Our prevention service is the RAW DAWGS Youth Corps Gang Prevention Program for boys 5 to 13, breaking the cycle from cradle to crime.

Connections Area Agency on Aging
Connections AAA is the local Area Agency on Aging Serving 20 Counties in Iowa. We provide information and education to help you age safely and with confidence. Our mission is, "To enhance the quality of life of elders in our service area through education, planning, and coordination of services." Our vision is, "To help older Iowans age in place, save resources and make informed decisions along the aging process."

First Responders Foundation
The mission of the First Responders Foundation is to serve and honor all our first responders and their families, build appreciation and respect for their work, and enhance public safety. First responders put their lives on the line for us each and every day and face hardships that most of us will never have to know. They are the first people on the scene when an emergency strikes and are willing to do whatever it takes to save and protect the people of our community.

Fishing is Fun!
The Nebraska Walleye Association was formed in 1989 to promote fishing in Nebraska, primarily walleye fishing. The Board of Directors voted in 2012 to create a separate non-profit corporation specifically for the promotion of conservation and education through kids fishing clinics, including special needs youth. GLSEN Omaha is a chapter of GLSEN, a national organization fighting for every student's right to a safe, supportive education. GLSEN Omaha is a grassroots initiative, working locally in our community to ensure safe schools for all students, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity.
