ACLU of Nebraska
For over 50 years in Nebraska, the ACLU has worked in courts, legislatures, and communities to protect the constitutional and individual rights of all people. Beyond one person, party, or side - we the people dare to create a more perfect union. The ACLU also works to extend rights to segments of our population that have traditionally been denied their rights, including people of color, women, lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender people, prisoners, and people with disabilities.
BIG RED SUB CLUB
The BIG RED SUB CLUB is a volunteer community support organization for the crew of the USS NEBRASKA SSBN 739 Submarine, commissioned in 1993. We sponsor twice yearly visits for 6 crew members in June and September to their namesake, the great state of Nebraska.

The Heartland Workers Center improves the quality of life for the Latino community in Nebraska by promoting the power of people and networks through leadership development, workers' rights and civic engagement. Our training, organizing and information exchanges support Nebraskans in affecting change in communities throughout the state.
Immigrant Legal Center
Immigrant Legal Center is the former Justice For Our Neighbors-Nebraska (JFON-NE). We provide high-quality legal services, education, and advocacy to low-income immigrant individuals and families in Nebraska and southwestern Iowa. We serve immigrants of all faiths, races, abilities, and ages, with an emphasis on the most vulnerable--victims of domestic violence, children who have been abused or abandoned, and people who would be persecuted if they return to the country from which they fled.
Inclusive Communities is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization confronting prejudice, bigotry and discrimination. Through our powerful human relations work, we are providing education and advocacy related to the topics of diversity and inclusion. We work with schools, businesses and in the community. Our critical social justice work would not be possible without strong community partners, donors, advocates and an incredible group of committed volunteers.

inCOMMON alleviates poverty at a root level by uniting and strengthening vulnerable neighborhoods. The mission of the Leadership Council Bluffs Alumni Association (LCBAA) is to actively pursue positive change in the community through community leadership development. Each year, the LCBAA offers scholarship opportunities for community members to participate in the Leadership Council Bluffs Program. In addition, the many of our alumni participate on community boards and service projects.

The League of Women Voters serves our community as a trusted nonpartisan resource for voter education and voter rights. We empower residents in our community to vote wisely and confidently, learn how the political system works, obtain accurate nonpartisan voting information, and understand the importance and impact of voting.
