Nebraska Children works to strengthen families and keep life's challenges from turning into a crisis - with the goal of preventing children from entering the child welfare, juvenile justice, or behavioral health systems. Imagine what would have happened in the fight against polio if we had only invested in wheelchairs and iron lungs instead of working on a vaccine to prevent the disease. We believe child well-being should also be prevention focused.
