We are St. Pius Parish, grateful to our founders for a tradition of sacrifice, hard work and simplicity, proud of our economic, cultural and age diversity. As a Catholic community, we share our gifts and resources to live the gospel of Jesus in a spirit of joy. We commit to spirit-filled worship and prayer and excellence in education for all. We strive to be a welcoming community, to work for justice and to provide caring service for one another and the world.
St. Pius X Parish provides daily and weekend Masses and Reconciliation on Saturdays. There are programs that provide spiritual support; such as, a prayer line, bringing EMHC to nursing homes and private home, visiting hospitals and provide funeral luncheons for bereaved families. Adult spiritual enrichment includes liturgical ministries; such as, ushers, greeters, lectors, extraordinary ministers of holy communion, servers, cantors & musicians. Religious formation is an integral part of the parish as we offer Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, Baptism classes, Religious Education for children, Sunday Preschool and Youth ministry. In our Human Needs & Social Ministry programs, we have a Catholic Social Teaching team; clothing collections for Ann's Attic clothing sale that benefits our Human Needs ministry; Health Ministry; food pantry; and Respect Life Committee.
